Zac Evans and Nieves Reyes got involved in Springapalooza last spring.
A casino, comedy night and a big, messy splatter dance are some of the campus activities planned to welcome UT Dallas students back from spring break.
Springapalooza, set for March 18-22, is an annual post-spring break celebration put on by the Student Union Activities Advisory Board (SUAAB).
Jonathan “GNO” White, SUAAB adviser and assistant director of student life programs, said the week’s activities extend spring break festivities.
“We’ve dubbed it ‘The Spring Break After-Party.’ It gives students a chance to ease back into classes with some daily stress-relieving fun and enjoyment,” White said.
“It also caters to those students who don’t get to have a spring break away in places like Cancun, Miami, or for those students who participate in Alternative Spring Break programs volunteering to help others. This is SUAAB’s way of giving those students a chance to have some spring break-like fun social interaction,” he said.
