Festive First Week Gives Year a Lively Start

The  school year made a colorful debut with Welcome Week, a series of student events that ranged from the silly to the ceremonial.

Convocation started the celebration on Aug. 23.  For the week that followed, the UT Dallas campus was home to a water park, carnival fairgrounds and a tropical beach. See the Welcome Week site for more photos and videos.
