University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) President Dr. David E. Daniel will give an address on “Science and Math from a Global Perspective” at 6 p.m. Monday, March 20, in the UTD Conference Center, Room CN 1.112. The Seminar Series for Life-Long Learners was begun in 2004 to share recent advances in science and mathematics education with educators and the general public. The series is presented by the university’s Center for Science Education Research and the Teacher Development Center.
Teachers in attendance will receive continuing professional education credit at the close of the session. For additional information about the event, please call UTD’s Science/Mathematics Education Department at 972-883-2496.
