Dr. Sandra Bond Chapman, executive director of The University of Texas at Dallas’ Center for BrainHealth, and Dr. John Hart — who will begin as the center’s new medical director in November — will be guests on the Glenn Mitchell Show on Dallas public radio station KERA on Monday, Oct. 17, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. The pair will discuss how and why “memory glitches” occur. In particular, they will address asynchrony in the brain cells that retrieve stored information for objects such as features, categories, emotions and labels.
Chapman and Hart will answer questions from host Mitchell and listeners in a live broadcast from KERA studios in Dallas.
