Dr. John Hart, medical director of the Center for BrainHealth at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), will be a guest on Dallas-Fort Worth television station KTVT’s CBS Channel 11 News This Morning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15.

Hart will discuss his cutting-edge research of the diagnosis and treatment of memory loss, as well as the potential rehabilitation of the portion of the brain that controls memory.  The interview with Hart is expected to begin at approximately 9:15 a.m.

Hart, a neurologist, is a nationally recognized expert in the rapidly expanding field of cognitive neuroscience.  He recently joined the Center for BrainHealth from The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he was director of the Cognition and Brain Imaging Laboratory at the Donald W. Reynolds Center on Aging.  Hart is the first person to hold the newly established Jane and Bud Smith Distinguished Chair for the Medical Director at the UTD center.

Hart and the staff at the Center for BrainHealth are currently preparing to conduct clinical trials of potential treatments for memory loss.
