VP of Dallas Fed to Discuss U.S. Economic Crisis

Evan Koenig, vice president of the Federal Reserve Bank in Dallas, will discuss the economic crisis and the government’s bailout plans on Thursday, March 26, at 5:30 p.m. in Davidson Auditorium in the School of Management building.
The Graduate Business Society and the Financial Leadership Association are hosting the event.
Koenig has held a variety of posts at the Dallas Fed since 1990.
He holds a doctorate in economics from Harvard University. He has taught economics at the University of Washington in Seattle and is currently an adjunct professor in Southern Methodist University’s economics department.
The Graduate Business Society is offers graduate-level students opportunities to meet and network with business leaders and academic leaders.
The Financial Leadership Association, which is open to undergraduates and graduates, competes in national academic competitions and also sponsors networking events and business site visits, to top businesses.
