Upgrade Project Temporarily Closes Drive D

Drive D, south of the ATEC building and north of the Visual Arts building, will be closed for construction beginning Monday, July 21.
UT Dallas officials say the road will be upgraded and lengthened to replace Drive C, which will disappear to make way for the new Math, Science and Engineering Teaching-Learning Center.
After the project’s completion, Drive D will extend to the Jonsson, Multipurpose and Administration buildings.
The project is expected to take a minimum of three weeks, weather permitting.
Drivers and pedestrians along Rutford Avenue should expect minor delays and lane closures during this time and are advised to use extreme caution.
