Why One-Man Bands Don’t Hit the Charts: Teamwork Initiatives in a Challenging Business Environment” will be the topic of a presentation by Charles (Rusty) Cone, president of Alliance Systems, at a Professional Development Forum Dec. 6 at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD).
Cone, a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, has more than 20 years of leadership experience in high-technology manufacturing and quality process management. Companies he has led have received the Texas Quality Award and have been nominated for the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award. His presentation will highlight how a team strategy benefits companies in today’s economy.
A breakfast will be served at 8 a.m., with the presentation following from 8:30 to 10 a.m. There will be a $10 charge for the breakfast and presentation, both of which will be held at the UTD Conference Center, Room 1.212. The UTD School of Management presents a Professional Development Forum on the first Thursday of each March, June, September and December at the UTD Conference Center.
