Information Station Gets a New Name

Students and staff members have made their last stop at the Info Depot.




The destination for Comet Card service, DART passes and discount tickets is now called the Comet Center.

The center’s location is the same: second floor of the Student Union.

The Comet Center is the place for students to obtain or replace a Comet Card, the UT Dallas identification card.  The center staff can also answer questions about charging a Comet Card with UTDollars, effectively turning it into an on-campus debit card.

The University changed the name to make it more fitting with its purpose.   

In addition to the Comet Card, DART transit cards, discount tickets for movie theaters and area amusement parks, postage stamps, locker rentals and notary services are available to UT Dallas faculty, staff and students at the Comet Center.
