Some 200 project managers are converging on the UT Dallas School of Management today and tomorrow for a two-day symposium on the latest techniques and trends in their field.

The attendees at the symposium, “Leveraging Project Management for Business Success,” represent 80 different companies and organizations in the North Texas region.

The symposium features keynote speeches by UT Dallas President Dr. David E. Daniel and George Consolver, strategy manager for Texas Instruments.

Symposium topics include:

  • IT project management.
  • New product development.
  • Governance issues.
  • Project management in health care.
  • Global project management.
  • Emerging trends.

The event is sponsored by the UT Dallas Project Management Program, in cooperation with the Dallas Chapter of the Project Management Institute and PMForum Inc.
