Works from UT Dallas student artists will be shown at the Charles W. Eisemann Center in conjunction with the city of Richardson’s Cottonwood Art Festival.
The works, part of the Emerging Artists program, will be on display April 3 to May 1 in the Forrest and Virginia Green Mezzanine Gallery.
The Emerging Artists program is funded in part through the support of Opportunity Bank.
Featured UT Dallas artists in the exhibit include: Alex Lepe, Kelly Garvey, Kimberly Smith and Leah Foster.
The Charles W. Eisemann Center is at 2351 Performance Drive, Richardson, Texas 75082 in the Galatyn Park Urban Center. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and during all public events.
The Cottonwood Art Festival, now in its 40th year, is May 3-4 at Cottonwood Park in Richardson. The park is one block east of Coit Road on Belt Line Road. Festival hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily and admission and parking are free.
More than 200 artists and craftsmen from all over the country will set up a “gallery in the park” for all to enjoy in addition to children’s activities, live entertainment and food.
