C. Lawrence (Larry) Pereira, who holds two UT Dallas master’s degrees, has joined SensorLogic Inc. as vice president of marketing, product management, partnerships and alliances, and standards.

The Dallas-based company uses information technology to help manage assets in energy production, farming, manufacturing, cold-chain transportation and other industries.

Pereira earned an MBA in marketing management in 1994 and an MA in international business in 2001 from the UT Dallas School of Management. He received a bachelor’s degree in management science from The University of Texas at Arlington.

Before his appointment at SensorLogic, Pereira was vice president at Adaptive Instruments Corp., manufacturer of wireless sensors and solutions for monitoring, process, and control technology based in Hudson, Mass. Before that, he held various senior management positions at Nortel Networks Inc.

 He is officer and board member of the Wireless Industrial Network Alliance and an officer and board member of the North Texas Global Telecommunications Society.
