Anton Chekhov’s classic drama The Seagull, translated by Jean-Claude van Itallie, will be performed at The University of Texas at Dallas Nov. 2-4 and 10, 11.
The play will be directed by UTD faculty member Shannon Kearns, who last year was assistant director and performed the role of Agaue in the UTD production of the world premiere of a new translation of Euripides’ The Bakkhai.
The Seagull will be presented in the University Theatre on the UTD campus. Friday and Saturday performances will begin at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m. Admission is free to UTD students, faculty, and staff with a valid UTD ID card and $10 to all others.
