“Promoting Change in Corporate Learning” will be the topic of a presentation by Dr. Joe Carlisle, director of employee development at Fujitsu Network Communication (FNC), at the fall 2001 UTD Professional Development Forum Sept. 6.
Dr. Carlisle, who also heads FNC’s online corporate university system, directed corporate training for Quaker State Corporation as well as Specialty Oil Company before coming to Fujitsu.
The forum’s breakfast will begin at 8 a.m., with the presentation scheduled from 8:30 to 10 a.m. There is a $10 charge that covers the events, both of which will be at the UTD Conference Center, Room 1.212. The UTD School of Management presents the Professional Development Forum on the first Thursday of each March, June, September and December at the UTD Conference Center. The forum series promotes training and development as an integral, bottom-line function in organizations and presents current trends and issues in employee training and professional development.
