Area UT System universities will participate in UT Metroplex Day again this year to showcase interdisciplinary biomedical research and collaboration taking place among their schools.

Students, faculty, scientific staff and trainees are invited to attend the daylong event, scheduled for Feb. 15 at UT Southwestern.

Presentations will include faculty members from UT Dallas as well as from UT Arlington and UT Southwestern.

Registration is free but must be in by Tuesday.

Researchers are encouraged to present posters on topics such as:

  • Biobehavioral Factors in Physical and Mental Health Disorders.
  • Bioengineering.
  • Bioimaging.
  • Biomaterials and Tissue.
  • Biotechnology.
  • Genomics, Computational Biologies and Bioinformatics.
  • Nanomedicine and Drug Delivery.
  • Psychoneuroimmunology.
  • Robotics and Medical Electronics.

There is a $500 prize for the best poster.
