Congressman Hall Briefed at BrainHealth

Congressman Ralph Hall was briefed this week about the latest research initiatives at the UT Dallas Center for BrainHealth.
UT System Assistant Vice Chancellor for Federal Relations Charlie Cooke and UT Dallas Vice President of Research Bruce Gnade joined BrainHealth Drs. Sandra Chapman, John Hart and Jacquelyn Gamino to welcome Hall.
Chapman and Gamino shared recent research showing how critical the middle school years are in brain development.
They are working to educate lawmakers at the state and federal levels about the importance of teaching children strategic reasoning during this vital developmental period.
Hall has served the 4th Congressional District in Texas since 1980.
He is the ranking member of the House Committee on Science and Technology and a member of the Energy and the House Commerce Committee.
