UT Dallas Awards Scholarships to Eight Public Affairs Graduate Students

Eight students from The University of Texas at Dallas have received Larry D. Terry Emerging Leaders scholarships worth $1,000 each.

The Terry scholarships support graduate students pursuing advanced degrees in public affairs at UT Dallas.

UT Dallas established the Larry D. Terry Emerging Leaders Scholarship Endowment in memory of Larry D. Terry, Ph.D., who served as the University’s vice president for business affairs. Terry also was an international authority on public administration and political science, an author and a fellow of the National Academy of Public administration. The endowment supports students with scholarship grants and stipends for teaching and research assistants.

The eight students are Scott Allen Clayton, David Mark Scott, Abra Nusser, Lisa Palomba, Michael Shawn Pose, Karen Jarrell, Ilker Pekgozlu and Ronald P. Timmons.
