Many UT Dallas scholarship donors will soon be receiving personal thank you notes, pictures and biographical sketches of the students whose academic careers have benefited from their generosity.
Scholarship recipients and student ambassadors worked together to make the University’s first thank-you note writing event a success.
The recipients were given brief histories of the endowed scholarships they received so they could personalize each note of thanks.
After the thank you notes were written, each recipient had his picture taken, and student ambassadors conducted brief interviews with each recipient.
The event was sponsored by the Alumni Relations and Endowment Services staff in the Office of Development.
