UT Dallas researchers will join forces with their UT Arlington colleagues under a program to find solutions to critical health care problems.

Proposal Submission Details

Proposals for the Collaborative Research Funding Program in Medical Technologies will be accepted until Nov. 6.  Each proposal must include at least one research investigator from both universities.

The effort is supported by the universities in conjunction with Texas Instruments and the Texas Health Research and Education Institute. 

Funding priorities include health care information technology, community health and oncology, among others.

The four sponsoring entities have each contributed $150,000 to the program for a total $600,000.

The maximum award for each project is $100,000 for one year.

Successful proposals are expected to be announced in January 2010.
