Karla Camacho celebrated last fall near the Davidson-Gundy Alumni Center after earning her bachelor’s degree in arts, technology, and emerging communication. This spring’s graduates are invited to attend Memories on the Mall, where there will be giveaways, refreshments and photo opportunities.

The University of Texas at Dallas’ Class of 2022 will be celebrated at school-based spring commencement ceremonies May 13-18 at the Activity Center and the Edith O’Donnell Arts and Technology Building Lecture Hall.

As first happened last fall, the University’s eight schools will have their own ceremonies, presided over by their respective deans. More than 3,700 students are expected to participate in the 12 school ceremonies and the doctoral hooding, which opens the schedule on Friday, May 13. A total of 2,933 bachelor’s, 1,100 master’s and 110 doctoral degrees are expected to be awarded.

Three ceremonies for the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science will be held Monday, May 16, along with ceremonies for the School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences and the School of Interdisciplinary Studies.

Tuesday will feature three events for the Naveen Jindal School of Management as well as the gatherings for the School of Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication and the School of Arts and Humanities.

On Wednesday, the final two ceremonies will highlight graduates of the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences and the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.

After each commencement ceremony, giveaways, refreshments and photo opportunities await at Memories on the Mall at the Davidson-Gundy Alumni Center.

On May 15, the new All-University Commencement ceremony for graduates will be held at the University Roundabout.
