Back by popular demand, the men of UT Dallas — donning their very best evening dresses, spiked heels and flashiest makeup — will compete tomorrow night for the coveted title of Miss Drag Queen UT Dallas.

Contestants will include student representatives from fraternities, Orientation Team Mentors, Peer Advisers and The Pub. The show is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in the Conference Center Auditorium.

Participants will be judged on a number of criteria, including talent, an evening gown competition, answers given during a popular interview segment and total money donated on their behalf by spectators during the show.

Professional drag queens Maddie Maddison, Sabrina Starr and D’Aundra Denna will entertain and judge during the event. Manfred Mecoy, reigning Miss Drag Queen UT Dallas, also will be on hand to pass down his crown to the next queen.

Tickets are $5 at the Info Depot in the Student Union and will be available at the door for students, faculty, staff and the general public. All proceeds from the show will benefit the AIDS Resource Center of Dallas.

The event is sponsored by Health Education, Greek Life, the Student Union Activities Advisory Board and HOMAGE.
