Two incumbent Congressmen involved in a heated battle to represent the newly drawn 32nd Congressional District in Dallas County will be featured at separate public events hosted by the Center for the Study of Texas Politics at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD).

On Tuesday, Oct. 19, U.S. Rep. Pete Sessions, a Republican, will be the center’s guest from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. in the Conference Center, Room 1.112, on the UTD campus in Richardson. On Thursday, Oct. 21, U.S. Rep. Martin Frost, a Democrat, will be featured at an identical forum, also from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. in Room 1.112 of the Conference Center. Following opening remarks, the candidates will field questions from Dr. Greg Thielemann, director of the Center for the Study of Texas Politics.

The two events are free and open to the public, but attendees must have tickets. To obtain tickets, please contact the Center for the Study of Texas Politics at 972-883-4929 or texascenter@utdallas.edu.
