Fourteen-year-old violinist Chloé Trevor, grand prize winner of the Collin County Young Artist Competition, will give a recital at The University of Texas at Dallas Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the Jonsson Performance Hall. She will be accompanied by Daredjan Kakouberi, pianist with the Clavier Trio, UTD’s artists in residence for the 2001-2002 academic year.
The recital will be the first in a series of performances by young artists presented by UTD in collaboration with the New Conservatory of Dallas, Akady Fomin, artistic director.
Trevor will perform works by Kreisler, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Mendelsson and Saint-Saens. Tickets are $10 general admission and free with a UTD photo identification card.
