The McDermott Library, in cooperation with the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), will present two lectures about UTD’s Sickle Cell Disease Research Center at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 4.
The speakers will be Dr. Steven Goodman, director of the center, and Dr. Betty Pace, associate director of the center.
Goodman will speak on “The Sickle Cell Membrane Skeleton,” and Pace will discuss “Sickle Cell Disease: Past Accomplishments and Future Perspectives.” The talks will be held in the McDermott Library Auditorium (MC 2.410) on the UTD campus.
