Toni Messer, director of audit and compliance at The University of Texas at Dallas, has received the Association of College and University Auditors’ 2006 Excellence in Service Award.
The yearly honor recognizes association members for outstanding contributions to the organization’s mission. Messer received the plaque during the association’s 50th annual conference in September in Louisville, Ky.
“The honor is significant to me because it is awarded by my peers and it recognizes my contributions to our profession for my service, which is something I really enjoy,” she said.
